The first 4 are chinese, but I don't know anything else, the other one is a mystery to me. What are they and are the genuine?

Forgot to say welcome to the forum!

And a tip for the future image postings - crop off the unnecessary field around the coin, it'll look much nicer.

1- not a coin in any imagination. 2) Hupeh Province 1 dollar No date Y127.1 probable forgery 3) China- Republic- 1 Dollar Yuan Shi Kai (regular head, not military hat)as Hung Hsien Emperor (1916) Which never really happened- Again Probable forgery 4) Taiwan Old Man dollar Cr 25-3 (1837-1845) Again Probable forgery. Chinese Coinage, especially Silver Coinage, plus many World Coins, have been extensively counterfeited since 1990, and some types, such as the old Man dollar, for much longer. The counterfeits can be purchased for as little as $1 each, although the normal starting price is $10. If they were silver, there would be much more value than that.

Of the four Chinese "coins", the only "genuine" one is the first one because it is not a "fake" or "reproduction" of anything.

It is not actually a coin but rather one piece in a set commemorating one of China's greatest novels.

The image on one side is that of Guanyin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion. The Chinese characters are guan shi yin.

The Chinese characters on the other side are xi you ji which translates as "Journey to the West", a famous Ming Dynasty novel loosely based on the story of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang's pilgrimage to India to obtain sacred Buddhist texts.

The three crossed objects are associated with several of the main characters in the novel.

This "coin" would be one piece in a set. Each of the major characters in the novel, such as this one commemorating Guanyin, would have his own "coin".

I do not know how many commemorative coins would be in a complete set but they are modern and probably only worth a dollar or two each.
