Of the four Chinese "coins", the only "genuine" one is the first one because it is not a "fake" or "reproduction" of anything.
It is not actually a coin but rather one piece in a set commemorating one of China's greatest novels.
The image on one side is that of
Guanyin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion. The Chinese characters are
guan shi yin.
The Chinese characters on the other side are
xi you ji which translates as "
Journey to the West", a famous Ming Dynasty novel loosely based on the story of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang's pilgrimage to India to obtain sacred Buddhist texts.
The three crossed objects are associated with several of the main characters in the novel.
This "coin" would be one piece in a set. Each of the major characters in the novel, such as this one commemorating Guanyin, would have his own "coin".
I do not know how many commemorative coins would be in a complete set but they are modern and probably only worth a dollar or two each.
