One is a Canadian 2 Dollar Coin
the other is a token from the statue of Liberty same thickness as the statue metal.
I wish I could get to some older Areas but I just don't know where they are. The Houston area is growing so fast that there is very little within 20 miles of me that was there 10 years ago when I built my house.
The old City parks in Stafford where bulldozed years ago to make room for new sub divisions..

Hi Nohope

The urban areas are not as hard as they may seem,, Use the historical maps to locate the older blocks within the city,, many times the old parks are still parks and at times new contruction uncovers some of the very best places to hunt.

look for sidewalk projects, excavation within the older blocks, street renovation, I especially like when they take out the corners of the sidewalks to make wheel chair access ,,the corners are places where people stop dig for change for the buses and other public transport those activities have taken place for many years at the same place within a city.

Oh and dont discount the older picnic areas that have been used for company pic nics ,base ball practice ,softball games, family sunday outtings,, these are easy to locate with some time and a little bit of research.

Take care and HH
