Guys, click on the link to the listing and look at the photos. You can see the brass showing through in the first photo where the silver plate has worn off the rim...then in the other photos the silver plate has recently come off showing the shiney brass below.
I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

I looked at all the photos but they are just not good enough to tell what is going on there. I think I would pass on this one as there are too many out there to be had that you don't have to worry about.

It has some resin/adhesive residue on it. That is the brassy looking color that you see. Also was most likely either pressed or put into a holder of sorts like a belt buckle.
Like mentioned, you can find better for the same price anyway.

Indian, my guess is they didn't show the mint mark in the photo for that very reason. Get more bids by people taking a chance on getting a rare coin for a bargain price.

I'm with harrison2 on this one  also reeding not complete (could be filled in ) Weight does not mean what it used to  I have a 1893 cc with a better weight do to wear   |
