WOW... nice lamination peel. The peel actually takes away from eye appeal but, it is only worth what someone would pay for a coin like that.

That is a nice peal!! I don't know if it would have a premium. I agree with SHAFTA9a Quote: it is only worth what someone would pay for a coin like that

Lamination usually detracts from value as a error, not add value.

I think you could get a couple bucks on e-Bay for it. John1

Have you tried super glue? Really, a collector that wants it for the great date will shun it because of the lamination error. A lamination error collector will shun it because of the price involved with the date. Catch 22.

A lamination or other type of planchet flaw will almost always devalue a key or semi-key coin. If you want a lamination, it is better to have it on an otherwise ordinary coin.

LOL, I would not pay more than $75 for either one of those ugly dogs. Someone is living in fantasy land if they think it is even worth 4 figures, much less 6 figures

I knew that it was not a PCGS slab. They will not slab a coin with a lamination that bad and maybe not any obvious lamination. They say it could further damage the coin being slabbed so they will send it back in a body bag.
