Re-spending a shinplaster. I don't like seeing people have to come to these extremes to eat.

Apologies , I should have been more clear , the customer had the money he needed , just didn't want to break a 20

Three digit radar!

Post-Your-Canadian-Circulation-Finds!

All other radars I have found have been four digit ones, so this is my lowest amount of numbers in a radar so far.

To be a four digit radar,
the fifth number would have to be a nine.

Got a call from my sister. God bless her she has a nice shinny 2017 Loonie for me from the wild.
I still haven't seen one myself, and not many people around here have either.

is it the loonie showing the Northern Lights, or the Loon? If it's the Loon, someone cracked open a set, so getting that one in the wild is even more rare!

It's the Canada 150 loonie. I do need the old style loonie as well from a proof set.

Left - 1960 left in a Safeway coin sorter reject tray.
Right - 1964 change from the company cafeteria.

Always happy to find these!
