Just wanna show my latest internet buy.. I was pleasantly surprised how nice they look after 450 years when I received them.. They are my first 16th century silver coins.. I think more will follow soon..

Very nice, I have one of these myself dated 1561. They are relatively common and not that expensive (I paid $15 for mine a couple of years ago, also in good condition), making them a great buy IMO.

Nice coins indeed!
It's interesting to see how far back Vytis (the dude on the horse) goes. In 1997 they pointed the horses tail up instead of down, I wonder what's the message?

Very nice coins and having visited Lithuania it makes me wonder what that country must have been like at that time.

I don't have anything that old in my collection and its amazing that they survive so well and can be purchased reasonably.
