Got 5000 pennies then asked if they had 50 cent pieces. She gave me this for $5 I know it's not worth much but I've only started collecting for 3 weeks :)

Look-What-I-Snagged-At-My-Local-Bmo

3x 1969 dollars
3x 1969 50cent
1x 1968 50cent

I can't take anymore pictures because I have a crappy camera but all of them look to be uncirculated except for one of the dollars.

Nice grab. If I ever get the chance to grab some halves and nickel dollars from the bank...I will take them all. You can not beat it for even money exchange. :)

Nice pickup joboman
Those Canadian 50 cent coins are great, Try to grab some of the silver ones from 1937 to 1967, most Canadian collectors seem to consider them as only junk silver and they are pretty easy to snag at about melt prices

Nice Joboman! Always take your loupe with you to the banks..they don't mind a swift look at Presidential dollars for missing edge lettering, and 2000 Sac dollars for "enhanced" tailfeathers, on my top 10 dream cherry pick coins...Your local Bankers will put stuff aside for you, after multiple friendly visits..at least mine do..luckily, none of the tellers are into collecting coins.

You would love my BMO. I routinely deposit nickel dollars and nickel 50c coins there (in bags of 100)....

Nice, every time I go to the bank and feel like I get hassled just for asking. I feel like I am getting interrogated or something.

While sightseeing around Toronto found a BMO on Royal York Rd and about Lawrence Ave and bought 39.00 of 50 cent piece had to leave about 100.00 in nickel dollars as my carry on will be heavy enough as it is.
