Hey guys, just wondering what grade this would be, I estimate Exf - aUnc due to the scratches in the lower obverse. Opinions? Also around how much would this be worth?

Ive gotta do something before I watch the mighty bombers smash freo.

1924 pennies seem to turn up in good condition fairly regularly. I have no idea why. I sold all but one of mine but I once had 5 that were all at least this good that I picked up for not very much. I have also noticed quite a few different die cracks on 1924 pennies but yours doesn't seem to have any

I'd love it to be in my collection but its actually not my coin. I'm still learning about how to grade/value and this was done for educational purposes :D

I couldnt go gEF because of the scratches which are a bit much of a distraction. Its a nice coin worth keeping. Usually I would say 50-55% of CV but having sold and purchased a few in the past year they dont seem to go that high. Maybe walter could chime in with the price he would put on it if he was selling.

The mark on the obverse appears to be a die crack in that pic.
Is it raised or incused?

Im pretty sure its a scratch. Maybe you could message the seller and ask. I think $50 is a little too much.

Had a squizz at the pics in the listing and looks like a die crack but the weird marks/letters between the dot and the colon on the bottom of the obverse have me baffled
