Howdy Doody Coin forumers; In a number of other posts, have posted that I had been thinking of thinning out coin collection to put funds towards my house deposit. I did it today, listed my first 29 items if anyone wants to browse. They're probably not bargains, but hey, you never know . I am only selling things that I don't have any strong feeling about. Hmm, interesting point trout; though seen as they're Aus coins, it's still an appropriate post I'd reckon.
...

Because CCF routes the link through US ebay no one can see the other items by following the link. You have to open Aussie ebay and search for tim_in_wollongong. Good luck Tim!  Edited by enworb

 Mate but the rules don't. Have a quick gander at them they are located at the top of the site page under "Coin Community Rules- Please read before posting" Put this and all your other stuff up in the trading section then we can see what you have to offer without bending the trading rules |

The sales promotion forum would probably be even more appropriate than the trade forum. I like it here though because its all Aussie coins and probably wont get much attention anywhere else.

I am not sure if it is right as far as the rules go, but to post "Australian" stuff in the "Australian" section - where it will be seen by those that really ARE interested - may be better for all concerned than posting in the official trading section.
As an Aussie, I do not really look at the trading section much as it is full of things that do not interest me.

The reasoning presented in favor of keeping this thread here is quite valid, but the rules are the rules. And the moment we suspend those rules for one circumstance, however worthy, we open the floodgates. For that reason I must move this to the Sales Promotions subforum. Quote:
