I have a very nice BU maybe Choice 1912 5 cents.
I know the coins history (family) and was fresh out of the bank
in 1912. Anyway, I was wanting to know what TPG to send it in to
for the best bang for the buck. In the U.S. or Canada ?
What do you think ? Thanks.

ICCS is the most widely recognized TPG in Canada

Sending it to ICCS is the best thing to do.

O.K. Than you very much.
Never sent out any foreign coin before
so was not even sure if the top three TPG's
in the U.S. did them or not or if they did, if they were
more desirable sale premium wise than the one that you just mentioned.
Maybe that is whether the possible buyer is from Canada or the U.S.

I want to send a couple of 1930's nickels to ICCS just to evaluate how I have graded them. They're circulated, and not worth slabbing, but this is just to see how it all works.
Do I just package them sturdily and send them off? Do I need a covering letter? Is there an online form? Do they communicate by email? How much (rough guess) might it cost? How do I pay? Yeah-- I know nothing.

seriously dont spend your money.

post pictures here and get free opinions on your grading.

use the knowledge you gain and money you saved to buy a coin worth slabbing.

Coin shows and coin clubs are also good places to test your grading, but I just checked your profile and I don't know of any shows/clubs that part of the central interior of BC. Do you get down to the lower mainland much?

Thanks to you both, Wade and SPP. No, no coin shows around here, and we seldom go to Vancouver.( Last visit 2001) Obviously I have to tackle the skill of getting pics up on this site. It's achallenge, but worth doing. Thanks again guys.
