Best, quick way to suss one of these coins out quickly The steps on these is mainly an indication of the quality of the strike and not the best way to gauge the grade. The crown ends of the mace and the shell above the parliament house are the high points to look for wear. Also make sure the toning is even, this coin has toned but is lighter on the high areas that point to it being circulated Report this Post to the Staff

trout1105 Pillar of the Community Australia 7096 Posts	Posted 06/26/2012 06:55 am These are my favorite Aussie florins and I have dozens of them. This one IMHO is just a run of the mill coin, It even appears to have been cleaned. The best one I own would be aUNC-Unc and would make this one look like an ugly sister. I have bought off this seller in the past and have been happy with the coins. I have absolutely no idea why this was listed as it is . I just hope he has buggered up with the pic's and makes the necessary revisions. Or changes the listing. Report this Post to the Staff
