learning New Member United States 38 Posts	Posted 07/01/2012 8:18 pm ok looking for some help here got some quarters from us commemorative gallery. they are I want to say silver coated I think not clad but do not know? they want 89.00 to complete the collection I have not found any information on these as of yet. wt goes from 5.90 to 5.71 5.84 g have got the 99 and 00 p 10pcs is it worth 89.00 for the rest to complete the set thanks john Report this Post to the Staff

They were made after leaving the mint and most coin collectors consider these damaged coins. Report this Post to the Staff

From those weights you list, those are clad quarters with silver plating and aren't worth the price they are offering them at. 90% silver ones would weigh 6.25 grams. Report this Post to the Staff

At the end of the day however, if it is something that appeals to you and you are ok with the price then you can't go wrong. You don't collect coins to get rich. Report this Post to the Staff
