"If so, is this a doubled die?" From what I'm seeing in your pic, it appears to be Mechanical Doubling damage (MDD) and not genuine hub doubling. It has a flat, shelf-like appearance which is a characteristic of MDD. "Also, does anyone know of a book that has pictures that go along with the error number/type reference number - for Lincoln cents?" I'm sold out of my "A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties" but I do publish the free online Die Variety News Magazine that illustrates a lot of different varieties and mint errors. It is beyond frustrating to not have a reference, in hand, that has the error type (numbers) and a picture. If this is the type of book you have made, and if possible, I would like to be on a waiting list. Again, thank you for your time and advice on this. (Have more brain for picking : )? I will be devoting an article with many photos illustrating the differences between Mechanical Doubling and Die Deterioration Doubling versus genuine hub doubling.
