Hi,

I just received this one, which clearly look to be in the mint state.
What do you think about it ?

If you ask me, I would say that it is cleaned.

mkman123 : it's the same coin actually, took the pictures this morning under the sunlight. Full mint luster is still there.
I actually hate slabs, so I won't - I call those plastic coffins :D (although I have to admin that I thought about it ...)

tzarmarko : what makes you think it has been cleaned ? There are some very small oxidation marks on it (dipped maybe ?)

Almost certainly dipped, possible environmental damage just above the bust. Odd "chips" on the central device on the crown side. Fields are PL. I'd say UNC details.

Thanks :)
On the central device on the crown side, it looks like it came from the planchet (I don't see how it could have happened that way otherwise)
There are some small dings on the field just under the field though.

This kind of coin slabbed would give which grading ? (AU, MS, un-numbered grading because of the dipping or the environmental damage ?)
The pictures can be zoomed, I uploaded them in quite hi resolution :)

I dont see a problem with this coin being slabbed by NGC.
I've seen much worse in NGC Slabs.
Just my Humble Opinion.

Beautiful Coin Btw
