I picked this up at the Whitman Coin Expo in Baltimore.

I was thinking MS-63 minimum, but I would love other opinions.

I agree, it's definitely top shelf 65+. And I would think you have a real shot at 5.5 or 6 steps on that one

The steps unfortunately have gouges in them, which are hard to see. So no chance at 5 steps

MS65 easy IMHO ... and I can see the hits on the steps below the left inner column.

Nice example of a tough War Nickel.

Value doubles between 65 and 66. FMV $15 and $30 respectfully.
As far as the steps (even though not worth slabbing) Most experienced graders take into consideration die state/strike
quality as well as possible PMD/wear.

It appears by your picture that the steps look complete. I would say atleast MS65.
