I know...not the best pictures....just what I have to judge the coins by. Scratches are on the plastic holders the quarters are in. Have NOT seen either in hand.

It may just be the holders, but the obverse of both appear to have an unnatural glossy look about them

I don't like it.

Better pictures really are required to make a definite judgement.

Your going to have to get them out of those holders carefully.
They look like pretty decent coins strike wise.

Will see what I can do when I have them in hand. Agree, rather shiny for business strikes.

Generally, I do NOT buy coins with any problems. Hard to pass up the key dates in the Washington series for very, very reasonable money.

Will post pics when these are in hand.

The 32-D looks about EF/AU details and the 32-S about AU details. Both appear to be cleaned or polished. They look like they may be authentic but better pictures would make that judgement easier.

Both coins look AU in these photos. Sharper photos might show what they really look like and a better estimate on the grades could be made.

Thanks everybody. Probably be a week before I have them in hand.

I FULLY expect these to be cleaned. But an AU 32D, even in a "details" holder, is worth a buck or two.

This coin would be better pictured out of the holder.

both definitely look polished. I'm curious as to what the prices were.

I for one would not buy two key date quarters with such lousy photos. No way to tell if they are genuine or cleaned/polished. Hope you get lucky on these.
