The two main visible lines are ЬПЕТ Е3ИЕB which means [tsar]' Pet[er Al]exiev[ich], so yeah, it's Peter I.
The date seems to be 1703 but could easily be 1713 - the image's way too small
Either way, you got relatively lucky. It's hard to find a Peter I copeck with a fully visible year - the image on the dies had something like 5-7 times the area of the actual coin!

EDIT: The darned forum software just won't let me write the correct letters! I had to exchange them for similar symbols

I will try to get a better image with my microscope. Things are so small to begin with. No wonder they call them fish scales. I wonder why they made the dies so large?

Here is a better pic of the reverse(?). This is the side with the date on it correct?

Yeah, that's it. 1703.
Good catch! Mine is 1709 and also awfully tiny (I've just now tried to look exactly how tiny but apparently I've managed to lose it sometime over the last 2-3 weeks )

january, Thanks for the confirmation. I had no clue how small they were before I bought them. Even in the dime size 2x2 they have a ton of wiggle room.
