Early August? Really? They are shipping orders that fast now?
Man oh man, last time I placed an order, it took three months, so only a ONE month delay is a really big improvement.
Kudos!

With all these delays, the Mint should at least offer a token of appreciation, pun intended. How about a glow in the dark coin that says I survived the great coin depressionÉ

Thankfully, I have received my silver bumblebee coin from the mint. I think I got it more than a month ago.

what is the reason they are giving? you'd think I'd get an apologetic email or something but nothing. they're mum on the subject.
i have 2 loons an the fishing village on the way.
i didn't even bother ordering anything from the new batch. I'm done with them until they are caught up.

Once August/September hits, all of the Holiday coins start making appearances, you would think they would have those delivered before Christmas? I'd hope. Nothing like getting a Santa coin in March.

Anybody here who lives in Ottawa should try and get a job at the mint so that they can expedite their service somewhat. If the problem isn't manpower, then why would they hold back?

I'm thinking I should just cancel my outstanding orders, most of the stuff I'm waiting for is at the post office. I just don't understand whats going on. :-(

falcon- I said the same thing. I am now just walking into this magical place and buying it right away.
I think what the problem is... example: they are to make 10,000... 5,000 are made... 2,000 goto post office... 2,000 goto dealers... 1,000 get shipped as mint orders... the remaining 5,000 sit for the next 1-6months on the back burner while they pump out the next biggest thing.

@Falcon I did that over a week ago, cancelled my orders. They needed a reason on website so I gave them the truth.....................slow shipping of orders. Since then have won some older british mint stuff and picked out some nice coins from the LCD. No need to deal with their overpriced coins, the only one you would really need this year is the Aster anyway. Being a MC member is losing its appeal.
