I have looked all over for info. on the large 12 coin RCM red box for the entire $15 lunar series. The box has a center spot for a lg. silver medal (which I usually see as missing).I have the full set, but need to know how many of the boxes/full sets were made/sold. Mintages are available for individual coins. The next question is did the medal come with each box or was it an option, and at what point during the 12 years did subscribers to the series get the display box, eg. with the first coin and subscription or near the end of the series?

Per the Charlton Standard Catalogue for Collector and Maple Leaf Issues the box and medal were included as part of a five-year subscription plan that ran from 1999 to 2003. The subscription cost $428.28.

No subscription numbers are listed.
