Thought I'd share before I report. Even he makes no claim to authenticity.

Seriously they need to get these charity things under control. I love the idea of it, but feel that the majority of them are fake just trying to prey on peoples good will

The "obsolete" currency he sold look like copies. There are no specifics about the so-called charity. A Google search for the generous donor, Dalz Cardz & Coinz, reveals nothing. Hmmm ...

Sadly, if this is a scam, it hurts the legitimate charities that raise funds on ebay.

Just what is wrong with so many people out there. Taking a chance with that much money is rediculous and if they would read what he posted:

Quote:
We are not experts on any of our items and do not make claims expressed or implied regarding age or authenticity in any form. All sales final, bid accordingly.

That alone should have scared people away. That all sales are final alone should have made people stay far away.

The stupidity of people really amazes me. All the info they needed to avoid buying this coin was posted right there in the listing, just carl spelled it out. Now the same knuckle head will scream they have been a victim of fraud when they go to sell this turkey.

They can scream sales are final all they want. ebay and PayPal will get your money back for you if it's shown to be fake.
