Hello,

It has been a while I was wondering if it is possible to go into the mint's Archive. Through google I am able to find a few coins if I know more or less their name, but I was hoping there is a way to browse through the archives.

Thanks

Thanks :) But they are still not all there. No Swarovski snowflake coins for example.

If you're looking specifically for a list of coins the mint has produced Charlton Vol 2 covers the NCLT's. These two links will also take you to pretty comprehensive lists (although not 100% complete each in itself).

Sorry to bump this thread. I have the 2004 Majestic Moose coin/stamp set and I have no idea what it originally sold for. Is there any way to find out? Thanks.
Rest in Peace

My notes indicate that I paid $79.95 for the Majestic Moose coin and stamp set. I can't say for sure that was original list, as I purchased it from a dealer - when they were first released... but likely it was.

Thanks guys. I think the coin by itself was sold for $39.95
The original set was somewhere around $129. Dealers sell it between $150 and $250 now but the mint doesn't have the original listing. Or if they do, it's hidden somewhere.

The $129 - depends when exactly you bought it.
This is very expensive for the Mint issue price in 2004.

Less popular, but not less beautiful sets (my favorite - "The Walrus") sells now for $50-$60.

As per my above post, the Moose Coin & Stamp
set sold originally for $39.95 including the wooden display case, stamp, coin & booklet.

Yup, issue price was indeed $39.95.

I had ordered 2 from a dealer but they retroactively limited me to one, and then raised their website price to 99.95 - I remember it well because I stopped buying from them for several years after that. lol

I also bought 2 directly from the mint for $39.95.

Just a side note: there are some similar sets that were put together but a third party (not the mint) that are very similar. They use the same wooden case, some stamps and 2012 Wildlife SML bullion moose. They were generally sold for about $90.

Interesting issue. I wouldn't buy, but still...not bad at all.
Just the 3-rd party set includes less quality BU coin, unlike the Proof in the original set. Oh, and of cause the mintage differences. (of the coin).
