Hello,

This is a scans of the 6 kreuzer 1847 from Nassau. I'm interested is this UNC or BU? The coin is not cleaned.

Two questions:

Is that a planchet defect between 1 and 2 o'clock on the obverse (lion side)?

Is there wear on the high point of the lion or is that a product of the scan?

I think it is planchet defect. What is that lines between letters on lion side?
There is not wear on the high point of the lion.

The lines between the letters are die cracks. They are not uncommon for coins of this period.

Judging by the field on the reverse, I'd say the coin may have been lightly cleaned or circulated. I'd grade it AU-low UNC.

I'd say it was AU. There is rubbing in the obverse field and the darker gray color on the high points is minor wear.

I also see what looks like darkening from friction on the high points of the lion. I'd presume the coin is lightly circulated, so somewhere in the AU range.
