Hello neighbors of the community!

I need some advice.

About a year ago I went into a bank and asked for some rolls, bought 400.00 worth of rolls, 350.00 of which had been bank wrapped Presidential dollars. 50.00 of which was actually US Mint P & D wrapped Sacagawea dollars! Score huh?! Well as a penny guy, I pushed them off to a drawer and forgot about them.

Doing some organizing and "send to ebay piling" when I did a quick ebay search on them... 175.00 plus?! Seems like all the other coin selling sites are even priced higher!

Question is.. 1. Are they really worth that? 2. Is it a good time to sell them or do you think these for some reason are keepers?

Thanks!
-J

I would be probably sell them if I could get $175 or more for them. I may be missing something here but I can't see them becoming something of HUGE value in the future.

Joe, a little more info needed as to what year your mint wrapped rolls are. I have probably 50 rolls of various mint wrapped rolls collected over the years. The 2000 p-d are pretty much worth face value unless in great condition. Same for 2001,2002, but 2003 are a little more, etc. Check out the site http://www.numismedia.com for more info on value. I'm thinking of selling all of mine as some are still in the unopened white box from the mint. Good luck with your searches.

Mintage got progressively lower until 2009. Collecting original rolls seems popular now, so supply + demand = ...

Frankly, I would like to have P+D set of rolls for each year, but at $175 I would sell them.
