It seems most here use albums by denomination, but I'm collecting mint sets and filling in the missing bits. There really aren't that many circulation coins missing from the mint sets, but there are a few and a few varieties I choose to include. I bought some 2" and 2.5" Saflips (the big ones are for the Ikes) and an impulse sealer.

I'm using Eagle albums and pages. Eagle has pages for mints sets, proof sets, slabbed coins, and 2x2s. I'm torn between sealing in Saflips and getting slabbed coins.

The sealed Saflips can be placed in the pocket next to the appropriate year and the slabbed coins would have to be bunched together on one page (probably at the front of each album. It's also cheaper this way since I can get AU+ coins for a FRACTION of the MS counterparts in some cases, and they look just as good.

On the other hand, slabbed coins would be mint, like the other 1959+ coins in my collection, and would be easier for my heirs to get a good price on since it's not just a coin Dad sealed in a Saflip - there is a cert testifying to the authenticity of the coin.

I know I have to make my own decision, but I'm really torn on this one!

Tough call.

You might consider just mixing in 2 x 2 vinyl pages. These are all made for three (5) ring binders but there should be a means to attach them.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

You're right. It is a tough call. I really have no idea which way to go. I'm so torn I'm working on my stamps again waiting for an inspiration. Maybe somebody will say just the right thing to make the answer obvious. I've had similar dilemmas before, but after talking it out with the good folks here I came up with an answer that works very well for me. I do appreciate all of the help I've gotten here!

2x2s aren't a problem to store. Eagle has 2x2 pages as well, but I don't see the advantage of a 2x2 over a sealed Saflip in this situation.
