Still cant work out how to upload an image using an iphone. The error is small i.e. approx 2mm x 2mm and looks like extra ink in the top left hand Edith Cowan side corner where the building is printed.

Click on the upload image underneath the text input box. The image has to be less than 100kb.

Looks like a minor ink smudge. Sometimes these can also be caused by dragging a blunt object over the ink (sort of in a scraping way). Have a really close look & you may be able to tell. If it looks legit, it's a keeper, being that it's a first prefix.

Will have a better look and take a closer photo. I know very little about these things or how to tell if its real or not

Yeah, looks like a minor error. Excess ink. It wouldn't be considered an error to many, but to us enthusiasts I'd be calling it a minor ink error. If it was on a different note I wouldn't be keeping it.
I'll try to get a photo tomorrow of a couple of my $50's with ink errors (one lighter & one darker excess ink smudging), kept because of the extent of the ink.

Sorry to take so long, here we go: The other couple of inkers, like yours but with more smudgy smudge. As for the legitimacy of any of these? They all look pretty good close up, but at the same time they're all mild errors. In other words, you've got yourself a keeper.

Hi Goatieman, posted earlier from my pc but doesn't seem to have gone through. Just wanted to say thanks to you and others for your feedback and pics. Thinking of putting the 50 up for sale but am growing fond of it- think I just began a new hobby! Noodled theough the money box and even found a $1 year 2000 coin but I dont think its a mule, I did get a rush though. Anyway thanks again to all who contributed and for being sonwelcoming to a newbie. Back to lurking til I find something interesting to share!
