Hi nancy. I cannot find any reference to the 2007 Twenty Cent thick and thin seven. Which one is common? What am I looking for?

Okay. With a steady hand and magnifier I looked and of 34 of my 2007 twenties, I found 17 thick and 17 thin ones.

Great summary and very helpful. Many thanks for that. But does the 2004 50 cent coin also have a pointy A variety?

From what I have read elsewhere on the forum, the 2004 Pointy A 50c only exists in mint sets, so the chance of finding one while noodling, would be the same as the chance of finding any other MSO coin (very, very small).

Mmmm. Right, I think. The only one I have is in a mint set. Also the only claw I have is mint

Maccas reckons the pointy A's are only to be found in the proof and mint sets, none in general circ. Mine is from a proof set. Not sure on the percentage of 50 cent pointy/flat A's in these sets though
