Hey Guys, I have been reading through the notes posts lately so I had a look through some of the first and last prefixs that I had kept and found some interesting stuff. A pretty high last prefix A first prefix radar A general of doubles A first prefix of doubles So thanks for all the info thats been provided, adds more things to hunt for.

Hey Nancy
Thanks. Notes is a new thing for me. Not my favorite I must say. I only started looking at notes for the $20 PE94 and $50 VG95.
Then started keeping first and last prefixs.
I like the top 2 notes. Dont think I will be into doubles too much.
Does anyone know how popular doubles are ?
I am presuming that in serials people want solids, ladders or radars the most ?

Scott. I need that 1998 JC98 $50 note for my collection!! I've already got a couple UNC's (one of the UNC's on this post https://goccf.com/t/122790&whichpage=3 ), but that'll look nice near them. Seriously, ask anyone!! I am looking for a nice high serial in the JC98's, my highest is JC98 998992 When you're ready I'll give you a decent amount given the condition it's in. The only thing is you have to do a lot of posting before you can contact other members then also to trade/buy/sell. The $20 AA05 Radar is a goodie too.

Hey Goatieman
I did know from your previous posts that you were a 50 dollar lover. I honestly only looked through my notes cause of your posts and enthusiasm for them.
I will definitely get my posts up, and notes are not my thing so your chances are good.
I have taken a list of the mintages you have posted for different notes already, but did you happen to have or know where to get the rest ?
I was happy to find the radar I like the odds of them.

Nice scotty,
I stack Pm's and by chance looked at notes and codes in the book I have, 2 weeks later found a pe94, nearly put it in slot machine(grabbed it last second, by luck, ended up puttting 50$ in a bull machine and won 2600) Took note home only to learn I won again , only had 2x 94 $20 since then(this week) hope another is comming my way.
Keep eyes open awsome jc note closest I have to yours is

Heres a few more serials but am not sure about a few things. The first note is a low number but is it low enough ? The middle 2 notes are apparently bookends ? Does anyone collect these ? And are they worth bothering with ? And is the last note called a double (still has 3 pairs) or is it just semi cool ? Thanks

The first note is a low number. I count anything below 001000 as low or above 999000 as high. As for extremely low, that would be anything below 000100 or extremely high as anything above 999900. Some people consider 010000 as low & 990000 as high, but they're not too hard to come across. That's something that I'd hold onto.
I'm not into bookends. Some people do however collect them. To me it's a radar or it's not a radar as far as bookends go. Are they worth bothering with? I don't think so. The EK07930970 was one digit off being an 8-digit radar which are definitely collectable.
Some may call it a reverse-repeater (070707?) because it's on the wrong end of the serial. Doubles are generally (07 007711), two digits the same in three lots. Semi solids are generally (07 000777) three digits the same in two lots. It's still semi cool & probably keepable being a first prefix.
Thanks
