yeah I know, I know..I'm sorry there's so many, I'm sorry they're not all aussie and I probably shouldn't have, and probably paid too much so I'm sort of sorry I got it as I really can't afford it but what can you do..I needed it

Well this morning I'm so glad I went to a garage sale to look at some stamp, didn't get any but I ended up buying this as I had a few notes but now have heaps from all over the world and as there's slim chance in hades that I'll ever get there me self..so this is the next best thing for me so I was like & & maybe a little of this as well after getting a few pieces of our history

So I hope you enjoy

And I near had to this old lady about 80..man I thought it was gonna be on for young and old there for a miniute as she had that look in her eye but then so did I

As usual, sorry about the pic's

I like different world notes. Other than Australian, I collect (was once Western) Samoan. But I also have held onto Cyprus, British, USA, Euro & Mexican. I'll probably flog a lot of them. They're in my big list of stuff to sell.

Stupid thing about the British notes is that I brought a "Cash Pack" from the ANZ before my wife & I went to London. It cost $500 AUD & contained £300 GBP...I lost them at home before we left (Sept 2011)...what a bag I am...I found them again only in March this year...6 MONTHS later. Then again, it's still money.

Great catch AJ . Love the Aussie notes and the overseas are a great bonus. That $3 note from the Cook Islands would go great in my collection

My guess is it cost you $250.

Anyway I've cracked it all open just like trout tought me so here's some of the flip sides for nancyc and AC as they like birds and a pink back ground just for AC sorry it's not fuzzy

Ok I won't tease you any more. I paid $200 but I figure by the time I bought another book and a few pages, there goes $30 then the rough face value and add a little post if I was to get them from out of town so I figure it wasn't to bad. But the main things I wanted were our notes so it's all good

and I did offer him $150 but he said no

And also seeing some things like the euro (as it could be on the way out) and the english pound, canadian and the like so a very rough list now is $25Au and the old 1x 10 shillings and 1x 1 pound notes, $43NZ, $25 Canadian, 21 english pound and 11 pound banks of scotland, 5 euro's, $16 cook Is, Indonesia 8500 Rupiah and thousands in different asian notes. Yeah that's ok

Thanks for that! They're all lovely.

Thank goodness I don't really collect notes. I do have a heap of Aussie ones, but I don't pursue them the way I do coins.

I reckon if PNG ever put out notes with their beautiful Birds of Paradise on them, I would be compelled to buy them.

Nice collection
How many notes and stuff did you get in total?
I can see $25 just in the aussie page, they have to be worth more than face value. You will have to get the note people to check out your serial numbers on them for you.

He he birdies, love the background

Thank you. Your very welcome and it's my pleaseure so I hope you and AC like these as well..just a shame I only have 1 of each sorry except the kiwi 20cent and to have a bird be the main pic on coins is rare as these are all I could find. There are heaps of pic's of birds on coins but they're mainly on the coat of arms and things like that

I think there's 87 notes in total..average on the $200 alone, not including folder is about $2.29 per note

hold on, there are more if you class the queen as a bird
