I have this coin I got from my gma that reads on the front
Bring in this coin at once to Keystone DevelopementCo.
240 New England bldg. 501 Kansas ave Topeka, Kansas
And the back reads
THe finder of this coin is entitled to receive A BEAUTIFUL
BLDG. LOT upon presentation by both HUSBAND AND
WIFE at company office together with $54.00 cash to cover
cost of warranty deed & expenses.
I have searched for a while and came up with nothing.

I would start my search with the Keystone Development Co. and see if anything comes up about advertising gimmicks that they used. It is an advertising token so you could also try dealers in Exonumia (medals and tokens). It will take you some time to research something like this.

I'd be interested in seeing a photo (or scan) of this token, as I live in Topeka. 501 S Kansas Ave is now a parking lot, btw.

I know this topic is a few years old and Mr. Peck has likely moved on, but for the sake of future queries about this token, allow me to add that the piece in question was given the reference number of TOPEKA 940-A in John M. Coffee, Jr.'s "Land Company and Real Estate Tokens" catalog. The catalog value given is $10, but the catalog was published in 1991.
It is the only Real Estate token attributed to the city of Topeka, KS.
