I just checked and Flipper Note is supposed to read the same when you flip it. Like 00069000 would read the same if you flipped it.

Still -- I think your note is pretty cool. It's only $1 so keep it until you find something better.....

Thanks for the welcome Jbuck and yes I guess flipper is the word I was looking for. Seems like a flipper Radar would need just 0's 1's and 8's then . The 6's and 9's flip but they become a different number so while it would still be a radar it isn't the same upside down.

I like notes but I'm mostly into coins and I'm only dimly aware of the different fancy serial types. I just keep my eyes open for low serials , stars , radar notes and birthday notes.
My best low serial number and star is this one that I got from a bank teller a few years ago

This Boston star is fairly common, with an original print run of almost 1.3 million, and I would guess you could buy a decent CU example for $20-25. But the odds of finding one of the first 100 notes printed out of !.3 million? Do the math. Sensational catch!

And frankly, regardless of how "radar" is defined, I think this note is just "super cool" because:
1. the serial number (828) is a radar number AND
2. the date (14-11-41) is a radar number

The low serial came from a teller that saves things for me at my bank. She had about $70 in $2 bills that came in at once . I normally wouldn't take that many , I'd assume they were discards but if someone is saving things for you you have to. You don't want to annoy them and cause them to stop gathering .
