I have been looking at this Half Dime for a couple of days and would like to hear what the CCF has to say? Are those clash marks on the top of the reverse below STATES OF?

Thanking you in advance!

Looks like die clash to me. Nice coin! Maybe a bit of a cleaning at some point, but overall not bad. I like it!

I guess it depends on the hole you're filling and the ask, right?

Looks like a die clash and probably has been cleaned in the past as indicated by the hairlines and dirt clinging around the stars. I think it would grade EF details. Not a bad addition as long as the price is right.

It looks like a VF35 or XF40. I'd value it at VF+ because of the light cleaning and limit my offer to $40. For that price it would be hard to go wrong. If I really wanted it, $50 tops.

I am debating on this raw one and another lesser grade, problem free, PCGS. Although the clash is cool, I will probably be going with the latter, I have been burned on raw coins before that look good to me, but the TPG determined otherwise.

EF-40 with die clash. I'm not sure it was cleaned as there is far too much dirt, grime, and tone that would have been taken off. Someone might have rubbed the obverse or they could be die polish lines but hard to tell from the photo.

The rims have what appears to be a separation like a Magicians coin, from 2 to 10 O'clock on the reverse.
