The one on the left was authenticated by ANACS
although I had bought it raw.
The weakness on the left side of the obverse
is one of two identifiers used for authentication.
The other is the position of the mint mark
of which there are only two.

Yeah the one on the left is has far more personality. And more appeal than the one on the right. I would pay more for the one on the left if I were to buy one.

The one on the left is better.....with coins, even if given the same grades, some have more "meat" than others, better eye appeal, etc. The one on the left is much better than the one on the right

Its easy to see right off the bat the one on the Left has more detail than the one on the Right. The only way I could see anyone choosing the one on the right over the one on the Left is if there is some valuable variety that the Right coins has that the Left one doesn't. But it is impossible to tell that by the photographs provided

Not sure why any one would even ask. As noted everyone agrees on the one on the left.

I will choose the one on the right, only because she looks lonely and unappreciated.

That is so funny. I always thought the Barber quarter was the profile of a guy, as in a classic Roman profile. Is it Miss Liberty? She doesn't look too feminine to me.
well I learn something every day!

Sadly, you are not the first one to think this.
