What beauty of a coin. Great condition, where do you suppose that has been all these years?

Quote: where do you suppose that has been all these years? In that condition Id imagine it had to have been fortunate enough to have been passed down from collector to collector in one way or another. Amazing to think its survived 150ish years in that state

Given that it's a Pattern, chances are the coin has spent its' entire life in the hands of people who appreciated it. Unsurprised by the current condition, and congratulations on becoming the next caretaker of this important piece of history, CCya.
