I have three examples of Royal medal commemoratives where the reverse has "Made in Britain" as part of the lettering the crest stays the same and the lettering or obverse is different. I have a 1935 silver jubilee of King George V and I have two for the coronation of King George VI in 1937 in this case the obverse is different. Does anyone have any Made in Britain medals for other events or the same events with different lettering or obverses? Does anyone know about Made in Britain is it a specific company? and what do you know about it?

Full details and pictures in links below.

There are various styles of marking for the 20th Century.
Made in Britain
Made in Great Britain
Empire Made
Made in England.

Dealers in toys and ephemera can tell the date of the item by these markings. With the exception of Made in England, they all had legal force at certain points of the last century to indicate origin.
Unfortunately google seems unwilling to assist, or maybe I'm asking the wrong question.
