Some of the lettering appears crude to me, especially the last "S" in "Ulysses" on the obverse.

But thanks for posting this, Keeper. At least you've provided a valuable lesson to countless other collectors.

Interesting post as are the comments within.
I have never bought a fake one far as I know.
Tough lesson learned, but if this came from a brick and morter dealer
bet he would refund or at least give you store credit for the purchase price.
