He just called and said bring some $$$ and hurry on over, a large haul came in that I would probably like to add to my collection.

So I was more than surprised when I walked in to see what was waiting for me. Lately I have been on a US 90% kick being from Canada when my dealer had $30FV in US coin I though it would give me a chance to diversify a bit from my .999 and 80% canadian coinage. So apparently on saturday a man brought in $50FV in US silver quarters so thats where I started today at spot -5% I couldn't go wrong  Next he brings out some JM stuff I may be interested in. A 10g Gold bar and 8 1oz new silver bars made by Sunshine Mint for JM. The 10g was 4% over which was really good for such a small bar and the 1oz bars where 2.00$ over which I can't complain about  The last piece he shows me is something I love adding to my collection a 20oz bar. Thinking it would be a JM variety I don't have I was surprised to see this old pour ox logo Engelhard. Now I'm not a huge fan of Engelhard but this swirls in this pour are one of a kind, you can even see part of the rotary stamp they used for the serial numbers. I could not pass this up, and these pictures don't do this bar justice.  |
