@harrison: That's amazing, I had not known that! I'm not selling, though, hah! Have you heard of David Salinas Price? He advocates (in Mexico) for a standard silver .999 ounce (the Libertad) to circulate at a set daily price where it can never go lower than the last advertised price. I wonder how practical it would be in practise, but it's an idea against inflation.

For the poll: I say .999 silver bars. .900 is nice, but I love .925 and higher. .999 can be turned into .925 quite easily if needed. Country-specific rounds are nice but their whole point is to instill trust in the quality. Bars can actually be used in industry should there be a demand for it and not ruin the numismatic supply. I'm not even sure I'm making much sense here.

1. Junk Silver
2. Country Specific 1oz (Maples, Eagles)
3. Silver Rounds
4. Silver Bars

I agree I have a little of everything, Mostly I prefer to own whats common so its as Liquid as possible.
