I got some silver eagles. Looks like the weight is supposed to be 31.101 grams. Here are the weights of mine, should I be worried or is this an okay margin? They sound like silver to me and look silver. 2 are 2007 and 2 are 2008.
31.15 31.24 31.27 31.23

From the mint's page Quote: Each contains a minimum of one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver.

That looks like a reasonable variance too me. I could be wrong but I think theyre supposed to weight a little more than a troy ounce anyway since while the silver is very pure its not 100% silver so there will be some extra metal weight in there. Id guess the variance would depend on the current batch they made and how much "filler" they needed.

thanks guys. yeah there is nothing that leads me to them being fake. I have had ASE's before and these look good in all ways. Just had to check because I bought all 4 for $60 on craigslist :)

Quote: At that price, I bet you wish there were 40 for sale at that price!! At that price if theyre real id find a way to buy as many as they had even if it was thousands. At worse you just re sell most for immediate profit
