Let's pretend that each of our classic commemorative coins is actually a cartoon panel and we've been assigned with the task of coming up with a caption for each one. (We'll do some modern coins next time!) Here's a few that I've put captions to: Who's got the beef? I've got the beef! The wheels on the boat go round and round...! Whoa, Moby, whoa! A few ideas along these lines without any photo-edit effort on my behalf ... Obverse statement ... I've been at it forever ... any gold in here yet? Reverse statement ... Where is that next gold panner ... I'm still hungry Reverse statement ... The wheels on the boat go round and round. Ooops ... sorry commems ... could not resist the polite reminder that sometimes well circulated examples are the best to have fun with. Obverse statement ...
