Since today is 7/26 and My Order Placed at 12:05 June 7th is Still in process I can't see anyway they ship tomorrow. Normally all orders go from In Process to in stock and reserved for about a week or more before being shipped What do You think the actual ship date will be?  |

My mint experience has always been waiting about a week for things to ship even that are in stock. I cant imagine more then a handful of these sets will go out on time. My orders are supposed to ship the last day of october, I doubt ill see them before december and maybe not even this year

No action on the CC as of yet, they usually do a check before the actual charge. So tomorrow will either be their busiest day of billing and shipping  Or it ain't gonna happen! |

One of the last things the mint said on the product page before the counter went away was that they expected shipping to go from 7/27 to mid October. This would imply that those with 10/31 dates might start seeing items ship in late September or early October, with the 7/5 orders getting out in mid October.

I ordered my sets the last 3 days of ordering and after seeing the comments about shipping dates for some reason mine say they were supposed to ship on the 27th as well. Of course they didnt and I havent been charged but I wonder if they just put that for all the orders now.

After all the October delivery dates given to us all,Who ordered after the first day or so, I wonder how many people who do not have the funds, which were projected for later this year for delivery, will not have the funds, for what ever reason and more sets will become available......... Being the delivery date was suddenly changed from Oct to July 27th!!!!!! I too ordered a couple of extra sets on the last day also, I did order my 1st set on the first day, around 6pm and see they state it is reserved and in stock.... :)

I dont have any expectation of the october ship dates being shipped soon but that is a good point. A lot of people did pick up extra sets knowing the charge would be spread out. If for some reason they all ship sooner and everyone gets hit with the charge at once we could see higher than usual return rates

Same here. Originally mine said shipping in Oct, now says the coin is back ordered and will be shipped out on 7/27. I don't think they shipped it. I'll probably check in a week to see what's the real story.

You mean the $12.95, which if you read the description of, implies that such an order is allowed to violate the FIFO policy.
Standard Shipping
Orders completed by mail, phone, fax, or through the United States Mint Online Catalog have a standard shipping fee of $4.95 per order.
Packages shipped in the continental United States using the United States Mint's Standard shipping option usually arrive within 1 to 2 weeks.
Expedited Shipping
You will be charged $12.95 for the United States Mint's Expedited Shipping option (UPS Next Day Air) plus the $4.95 standard shipping fee.
Packages shipped using the United States Mint's Expedited Shipping option usually ships within 2 to 3 business days.
Note that normal orders ship items from stock in 1 to two weeks but expedited orders ship from stock in 2 to 3 business days. So if I order after you but pay for expedited shipping I also get expedited picking and get ahead of you because they can take two weeks to pick and ship your order. I wonder if PBGS is using this as an excuse to drop FIFO, by claiming that many have paid the $12.95 and are entitled to quick shipping from stock and that they have stock to cover the orders. They mix their wording so much when defining services that they can pretty much claim anything they want to when justifying their actions.
