my wife recently found a bag of old coins while cleaning out storage the other day. they were from her great grandma.

albeit, the oldest coin that I saw wtih a date was 1947, still some cool older coins.

wondering the metallic content and value:

from GB, there are 7 or so 6 pence, from 1947 - 1965..
Hong kong coins,

1 dollar 1960, some other smaller ones, I guess ill need pics

denmark,

some 1 krone early 1960's

and a few older german 10 phennigs and a few deutcha marks

ill get a more complete list and pics later.. jsut wondered if there was any silver or value to these

UK silver coins post 1947 do not have any silver in them.

I believe the change was made so that the UK could pay back its war debt to the US, so you already have it!!

A thought has just occurred to me... Is there a 1954 penny among them? If so,prepare for the ocean-going cruise.

None of the coins you've described have any silver. For value, we'd need more specific details on date, mintmark (for the German coins) and condition, but it doesn't sound likely there's anything there you wouldn't find in a world coin "3 for $1" scratchtray.
