So last week I purchased a Peace dollar off ebay and after not receiving it I logged in to check on the status. According to the tracking info the item was delivered last week, but I never received it. So now I am worried it got sent to the wrong house. I emailed the seller and I am waiting to hear back. But in the meantime I was wondering if anyone knows if I will be refunded my money if I nev received the item? I'm worried because it says it was delivered but I know I never got it, but how do I prove that?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Bummer....it's not fair to the seller if delivery confirmation says it was delivered. ebay is so stacked against the sellers anymore it's out of hand. The first thing you need to do is check your address in ebay and paypal's systems.

Agreed with badthad, make sure youre address was in there correct, and then check with your local post office to make sure that package was supposed to end up at youre house

Thanks for the feedback, turns out the first thing I should have done is checked with the wife. Turns out she threw the envelope in a stack of papers and never told me it came in! Oh well, now I know what to do first in the future!

I purchased a few coins a few months ago and never received them.
The seller refunded my money a few weeks ago.
Those coins arrived yesterday after being in the system for about 3 months.
I contacted the seller and he sent me a new invoice which I paid immediately.
I was impressed with the speed the seller refunded me and he was happy that I notified him of the coins arrival.
An all round happy conclusion, I wish every ebay problem could be solved so easily and amicably

The important thing is to never "jump the gun". Too often people go crazy and start trashing the seller....unfairly. Always exhaust all options before beating the seller up!

Lost in the mail is sometimes used by those that similarly post things like Unsearched. Actually not common but does happen. And as to lost in mail. A long time ago I used to send rolls of film to a place for developing. One roll got lost in the mail and showed up several years later.
I've heard many stories like that and always wonder where those items are laying around.

Oh the joys of marriage! At least you found the package safe and sound. I'm always a little anxious when items ship.
