Here's another Indian Head cent for your review. I don't have the coin in had yet so can't get a good look at what looks to be nicks at the top of obverse.

Looks EF45 to me, possibly with an old cleaning, although the shine could just be from circulation, but there do appear to be some hairlines on the reverse.

XF Details. Looks like it may have had crud scraped off the reverse. That may account for the scratches.

i agree with vermontensium. I further posit that the picture of the reverse was lightened to hide the dark spots between 12:00 and 2:00.
