I picked up a 7 coin set today, four 5 ruble and 3 10 ruble.

The 5 ruble coins contain .4823 ASW silver in 90%; the 10 ruble has 0.9635 ASW in 90%.

I understand they only made about 100,000 coins of each, so I guess they're sorta scarce. Do you know whether these have much value?

Thanks!

They are indeed quite collectible and are worth a small premium over spot. I've seen the 5 Roubles consistently go for about $20-$25 on ebay and the 10 Roubles around $40.

Thanks! With so few of them minted (I read somewhere about 120k of each), the slight premium over spot makes them an interesting long term buy, I'd guess.

They are worth more in a set. I got the entire 28 coin set and they looked really nice in the leather box as well as the COA. That was when silver was mere 7 dollars / ounce many years ago...
