I have a lot of coins in staple type holders and they are all just mixed together in a shoebox. I would like to organize them better. Is there a certain case I can buy? Or does anyone have any ideas? Pictures if possible

Buy some double row 2 x 2 coin boxes. I think they run around $3 each at any coin shop.

with IndianGoldEagle.
You can also get 2x2 coin pages (that are PVC free) and can be put into 3-ring binders.

Buy a FOUR ring binder and a dozen archival quality album pages, with pockets for 2x2's. I have about 3,000 coins stored in this way.

Four ring binders are much harder to find, but get them if you can. There is much less of a tendency for the album pages to tear out at the binding holes. A full album page with 20 silver crowns can weigh a bit more than half a kilogram. That puts a lot of stress on the ring binder holes.

To find a 4 ring binder, you may have to think and look 'outside the square'. You may not find them in stationery shops. I use old trade sample binders, and replace the pages.

You may have to do a ring around to find out who makes them, and to whom they are supplied.

The main advantage of ring binder storage is that you can review a group of coins, rather than pulling each coin out of the box to find the one you are looking for.

I really like my three ring binders. not only do I feel like they are much more organized than the cardboard boxes, you can showcase your collection to friends and family. the albums give you the ability to view both sides of the coin through the plastic. I have used both the three ring and four ring. I agree that the four ring are a bit stronger but the price for finding the binder and the pages is not worth it in my opinion. the three ring binder does the job for what I need. Just my opinion though.

I agree with the 3 ring binder with the archival 2x2 pages. I got my binders at Staples, whey are pvc free. I'll post a few links.

And make sure to flatten the staples you have in your 2x2's. If you don't, they can scratch the coins behind them.

That is the best reply about the 20 pocket Pages and a 3 ringed binde. So many are irritated by those pages binding when you turn them but there is a simple solution. At almost any stationary store purchase a 3 ring paper punch. Use it to enlarge the holes in those plastic pages but do it in a sort of eliptiacal way so that the hole is now sort of a diagonal. This stops pages from binding when turning.
