Is it even real or a cast?

Looks real enough, don't see anything that screams cast or fake. However, I am not seeing the crack. Grade, I would guess at G4 as well.

I added another picture to show the beginning of the die crack, the nose, and ending at the rim between two denticles. The raised section of the die crack would wear down with the rest of the coin.

Having cherry-picked three of these myself, I'm inclined to say yours is genuine, and G4 looks right to me.
IMHO, this is a coin that should be certified. My personal preference for the Liberty Seated series, especially the varieties, is SEGS. The owner, Larry Briggs, is the author of books on this series. SEGS is less costly than other respected TPGs. Just don't confuse SEGS with SGS or some other slab mill service. I believe that there's but a $1 charge for attributing the variety. Also, Larry Briggs sets up at many shows, and he takes submissions therein. You can then get a quick confirmation before you even commit to getting your coin slabbed. Larry's a great guy, but it's not always easy to get his ear at shows; this, due to the demand for that ear and the knowledge that he so freely imparts.

I have been working on a set of VG-8 or better Seated halfs for a while now. Your coin looks real to me and far as grade goes IMHO its a G-4 at best maybe AG-3
