Is this a Cud or PMD? The nickel is a 1919 restored date.

Could be a Cud, although without seeing the edge it could be PMD if the rim was sheared in that spot. The nickel might be the hardest coin to mint because of the hardness of the metal and force required. Plus the Buffalo design wasn't known for lasting the longest either.

Cud. I think we would see damage over the edge of the rim onto the reverse, connecting to the supposed Cud if it was PMD.
