OK...here we go....See if I do any better this time.

If I am looking at the 1870 right, it has the obverse of the 1869 ? Hard to tell without bigger pictures.

Also see a nice die crack in the shield
Nice toning as well

I would say AU50

For the 1866
Very nice color. See something on the top of shield but don't think it is a die crack...maybe small dings

I would say that is AU50 as well?

So was I close this time or am I way off like usual ?

I gave the 1870 and AU 55 so you got close on that one. Nice spot on the Obv of the 1869. this on is hard to tell as it dose not have the typical markers but the 7 and 0 are the correct size for it to be the RPD 1869.

When I bought the 1866 it was advertised as MS65 I argued with the owner for about an hour especially as you correctly pointed out there are way to many dings for 65. Its a fairly weak strike and there is some rub on the WE,Arrows and Leaves. Technically its might make MS62/3 The nice toning on the REV made me pay closer to MS63 money for it than 62. Though If I were to do it again I would argue a little longer and maybe stand firm on 62.

I think XF-45 on the 1870 and MS-64 on the 1866. Not comparing the toning, but the leaves and wreath exhibit more detail on the 1866 with no visible trace of wear.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I see the 1870 as an EF40. There is obvious wear on the obverse leaves and other high points. The color might be natural but it suggests "cleaned and retoned" to me. The 1866 has much nicer color and only light (but definite) wear. It appears to retain some luster, mostly on the reverse. Detail is sharp and the overall look is wholesome. I'd call it AU50.
For comparison, here is my 1864 two-center. I bought it raw on ebay and the seller called it MS65/66. NGC slabbed it with a more realistic MS64RB grade. I had reflection and focus problems shooting through the slab, but the photos do show the two features a mint-state coin needs: no wear, and mint luster.
