Just picked up this bill at the Philly ANA show to complement my Fugio. This was the first use of Franklin's obverse and reverse devices.

Nice pick up Interesting denomination 2/3 dollar

Lately my eyes have been opened to the early U.S. coin and currency. I hope someday I can find some similar one's for my collection

How is the show?

I know, I know. I live here, but I do have a JOB, you know. I knew what I wanted, popped in, found it, and went back to work. Maybe the little lady will let me go back on Saturday to say hi. Will you still be there?

A job? What's that?

All seriousness aside, we're here for the duration, open to close.
Rest in Peace

A couple of interesting picks.
Who's signature is on the currency? I can't make it out. Do they all have the same signature?
Is the fugio considered a late die state with the die crack?

The signer is Joseph Taylor. There were a lot of signers of continental currency; it was meant to be an anti-counterfeiting measure, but didn't really work. They were prominent folk and men connected to the project. Sellers, of Hall and Sellers, signed some himself. A few signers of the Declaration of Independence signed continental issues; those notes are worth... oh, a bit more, let's say.
As to the die crack on the Fugio, in the old days a die crack wasn't a reason to throw out a die. The actual late die state of this variety has another crack up at 11o'clock. Just about all Newman 9-p's have the horizontal crack. See BrickellCat's Fugio posted on the Classic US Coin Grading Forum!
