Couldnt agree more definitely helps to know what youre looking for. PCGS does have a grade scale but I dont think its really that helpful when trying to pick 69 or 70.

Thanks very much guys. I really appreciate the opinions and because I am new the getting coins graded I have been trying to learn as much about it. I ran to my local book store and dropped about 80 bucks on books to try and learn more. Like I said before I think I'm gonna send it with a couple other coins to get graded just because. Ultimately I want to build my collection up and up and up more for personal satifaction then monetary gain. Thank you all once again!! I appreciate it an hope to learn a thing or two along the way

I too say if you want a graded one, just buy a graded one. The cost of having yours graded may end up being more than it's worth.

That is a very good thing you did Most new collectors would rather spend money on coins than books but a numismatic library is an invaluable resource.

I figured it was my best option to get the books. It's a lot to take in!! I know I won't learn overnight and that's why more times then not I'll be back on the forum asking questions!!
